Spring is here, well at least it is in Arizona (in fact it’s almost Summer) and with that, it means out with the sweaters and boots of fall, and into the lightweight, easy styles that are more fitting for the warmer weather.
One of my favorite trends this season is the shirtdress. I love this style because not only is it so easy, but it’s also incredibly versatile. You can pair it with heels or sandals, dress it up or dress it down, wear it on a date, running errands, or even to work. It’s also a pretty timeless piece that you can always pull out of your closet when you’re running a little late but want to look put together.
Here are three options that would all be perfect additions to your spring wardrobe:
This dress is great for pretty much any occasion. I love that it has a slight gather in the back to give it a natural waist and shape, uses multiple patterns and shades of blue, and has a stiff white collar and cuffs to keep it classic and give it that menswear feel. Pair with your favorite espadrille flats, an open toe wedge or sandal, or a driving loafer and you can’t really go wrong.
Banana Republic, $108
MAC Retro Liquid Lipcolour (Color: Feels So Good)
MAC Cosmetics, $21
This is a two in one steal as it is both a shirtdress and wrapdress. I love the way it plays with patterns, ruffles, and patchwork; making it fun and flirty, while staying timeless. Flattering on almost every figure, this dress should be a go to staple for everyone. Dress it up or dress it down, you’ll look effortlessly put together without truly any effort.
Tory Burch, $350
Treasure and Bond, $49
This shirtdress by the Gap is slightly more conservative than the others. With a midi hem length and traditional navy stripe pattern, it is both sleek and casual. This is a great option to go from day to night, or to take with you on vacation. Navy is a classic color that can make this wearable throughout the spring, summer, and even fall.
